Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Fans across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area events featured a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos show countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
